Le Miracle 6.5 (Agen, France)

Bonne Année!!!!! 2014!!!! So crazy that it is already here! I hope everyone has set some goals that will help push yall to be/become who you would like to become. Something I have started to do to help me realize that my goals are good and also for some extra motivation I have decided to begin attaching a scripture to each goal as a reference.

So least cool thing first. we went to a ville called clermont dessous this morning for our "fun". We walked there so it took a little time but it was a lot of fun. We bought a baguette sandwich and ate it at the top of the hill and really passed a good morning there. I am in a really beautiful place by the way! I love those reminders! :)

Sooooo this week! Miracles! So our ami Sam cam to church yesterday!!!! It was the first time he has been in a loong time since being offended this summer. Glad he is finally opening up again. He asked us this week if we could help him get back into the habit of reading the Book of Mormon and praying. ....bien sur we can do that!!!! That is our specialty ;)

Then Wednesday we went to a ville in the middle of nowhere called Aiguillon to teach Martiny the mother of Virginie (girl from last weeks email) We just taught her a little about who we are and explained what we do and then testified of the book of mormon! She committed to read it! Yeeeeah! Thats whats up! funny thing about that day was that i felt like we were a disturbance of the peace. It was so quiet. I have never experienced in my life that kind of quietness. It was unbelievable. Only noise was the wind seriously. We didnt see a person on the roads except for us... It was ridiculous!

We had a district meeting in Bordeaux and afterwards we went on exchanges! I stayed with Elder Williams in Lormont and Elder Peters went to Agen. It was fun because we taught and talked to people all day and then we came in for dinner because a member had just given us a frozen pizza so we were going to eat that for dinner... Soo as we walked in the building there was a man getting in the elevator so we hopped in with him because to walk up to the 10th floor is obviously not that fun. Well it was so quiet in the elevator..until we broke the silence! We asked how his day went..he said it was ok. Moment of more silence....then seeing his baguettes in his arms we of course asked if he was going to eat well tonight....he said "come. Eat with me and my family" haha we were like seriously?! then the elevator opened and he said come on lets eat! ....so we did! We went in his apartment and sat on the floor and put a table cloth over our laps and the brought a table and put it in the middle and we ate dinner turkish style with Abdullah and his family of 5 from Turkey!! Ha they tested my level of taking in hot foods... they gave us hot peppers and they ate them whole... and then gave us some and said mange... elder williams wimped out but I didnt. WHoooooo! that was good! hot but gooooooooood! :) at the end they said to come back whenever we want. THey were so nice and so open! We planned that elder williams will make cookies and pay them back!

Well that was my week of miracles. I loved it and I am so grateful to be here! It is such a fun moment in my life! I hope all yall profit from the time that the Lord has given us! It really is wonderful!

Bonne semaine! Love all yall!
