Elder Alec Dover, Final Week in the MTC

Mon Parole!! (MY WORD- just a fun phrase all the Elders say here!)

Time has just flown. I am so excited to go to France on Monday! We got our travel plans last Thursday! We leave Provo at 7:30AM next monday and fly to Chicago then to London then LYON!! It is going to be a very long day next monday. But I am ready to go. I feel so ready. I don't know why because last week I didn't feel prepared at all. I've really pushed myself this last week though. I conjugated 60 french verbs in 10 tenses.. i'll send a picture of one of the pages later. It is insane. Sometimes my handwriting scares me :P You'll see!

So this last week we had a bunch of new missionaries come in going to Tahiti and Elder Erickson and I got to do a little orientation for them. It was so fun. We basically just told them to be obedient to all the rules and everything will work out great. So one of the Aussie elders is poly so we convinced everyone in the Zone that he is from tonga and that he doesn't speak a lick of english. Everyone somehow believed me.... It was quite the prank. I love all of these new missionaries! They are all so great and so prepared to be here in the MTC.

I GET TO HOST THIS WEEK! So on Wedesday, all the new missionaries come in and I get to be one of the missionaries that greets the new ones and takes them around. I am so excited! I have a good friend coming in this week and that'd be so exciting to see him. This new schedule change is getting us all messed up and I never see anyone anymore. Its kinda sad. I miss running into all my friends. Oh well. I'm in France in a week. Thats pretty sweet. I am so excited to go and put myself to work.

Last night Chad Lewis came and spoke to us (if you don't know who he is-look him up-he is probably one of my favorite football players ever). One thing he said was really cool "When times get rough, remember that ONE PERSON that needs you. That ONE PERSON you've prepared your whole life to find. Then work like CRAZY to find him/her" I am so excited to start that. Y'all have no Idea.

Thank you for your love and support. I love all y'all!
Elder Alec Stephen Dover
