Le Miracle 6.1 (Agen, France)

Soooo Transfer 6 begins!!! Well I didnt get to do emails yesterday unfortunately because I was transferred to Lausanne Suisse!!!! It is so beautiful!!! .....Just kidding. I am still here in Agen! So is my German Shepherd! President called on Friday morning and said "Elder Dover, I am very sorry this is going to be boring for you and I hate doing that to you but you are both staying." I dont understand the boring part but staying is so sweeeeeeet!!! I am so happy i get to stay! We get to have Christmas here!!!! Yeeeeaaahhhhh!!

So this week was awesome! We went to a little ville called Auch that is an hour and a half away from Agen because we have in 3 people we home teach there. Then as we were heading out to the gare I felt i should take off my scarf because I might be too warm or something... Well as we were walking to the gare with a member that had accompanied us all day as a tour guide, I decided that we needed to pass someone on our branch list. She wasnt there. Instant thought popped in my head that maybe we might see her on the road to the gare. Well just before we got to the gare a young girl stopped me and said Bonjour....are you mormon missionaries? I said yes... She started going crazy! It was kinda funny because my German Shepherd companion was so confused and our member was even more confused. Then she said she was a member...I asked if her name was Naomi. She said yes.... We sparked her real quick but we couldnt stay long because we had to catch our bus but we exchanged numbers and said we'd call her to come to church.. She said she couldnt because she doesnt have a car.. Then i pointed at our member and said that she was pretty lucky because our fearless member was there! So he said he would drive her and gave her his number! That was cool. I really reflected on that on the way home. Like if I hadnt listened to that feeling to take off my scarf she wouldnt have noticed that I was a missionary. (that white shirt really does the trick!!)

Then this saturday we went to Montauban for our baptism!! Christelle was baptized finally! Ha so it was kinda funny because We had specifically said it would start at 11am... well at 11h15 there were only the montauban sisters, my companion and I, our mentally handicapped member and Christelle..... hahaha I was not surprised at all that our Branch President wasnt there... Well after trying to get a hold of them for what seemed like hours they finally called and said they were are around the corner (said they will be there in 5minutes) and to start without them..Well I started and had the opening prayer song...still werent there....so i changed the program and gave my talk on the gift of the holy ghost...still not there...had elder peters give testimony...still not there...then i finally pulled the trigger and said we cant wait forever and so we baptized her...finally showed up after we were all sitting down...............................wow. Ha that was crazy. Good thing I have had a lot of practice in my life waiting for people and also making up plans of action quickly..

Then we had 24 people at church the next day!!!! 24! RECORD! We had brought most of the people (less actives and amis)... Missionaries taking over!!!

So yesterday was transfer days and we had to help some elders that were supposed to get to agen at 10h and leave at 17h but they ended up mising their trains (both)and so we had to go crazy yesterday with that and thus had no time..

Bonne Semaine à tous! Pictures are of baptism, port in agen and WWI and II cemetery!
